This was a beautiful wine and, to me, a standout in the Savage Grace lineup. This was very old world in style with a little bit of a modern twist to it. Both the sweetness and the acidity seemed to be playing in great harmony here. On the nose you get a good amount of citrus (some lime and sweet ripe orange...maybe even a blood orange). Similar notes on the palate with an emphasis on the ripe sweet orange. There is also a good amount of minerality (or maybe stone or slate) and a good spiciness. Medium finish. I would definitely give this some more time in the cellar and this will be stellar.
